ARQUITECTURA ALH CATEGORÍA RESIDENCIAL MEDELLÍN, COLOMBIA AÑO 2023

Montaña Arriba es un edificio residencial de 12 apartamentos ubicado en las laderas orientales de Medellín. El proyecto propone una forma de habitar íntimamente conectada con el paisaje, priorizando el uso de materiales honestos y soluciones arquitectónicas que dialogan con el clima, la vegetación y la topografía del lugar.

Las terrazas de doble altura permiten extender la vida interior hacia el exterior, incorporando vistas, luz natural y ventilación cruzada. La fachada, cubierta por más de 100 especies de plantas, funciona como un sistema vivo que aporta confort térmico y una relación directa con la naturaleza.

La estructura en concreto expuesto y los detalles en ladrillo y madera refuerzan la materialidad del proyecto, resaltando su carácter sobrio y atemporal. Cada apartamento fue diseñado para ofrecer espacios funcionales, cálidos y adaptables, pensando en una forma de vivir más consciente y en equilibrio con el entorno.

Montaña Arriba is a residential building with 12 apartments located on the eastern hillsides of Medellín. The project proposes a way of living intimately connected to the landscape, prioritizing honest materials and architectural solutions that respond to the local climate, vegetation, and topography.

Double-height terraces extend interior life outdoors, incorporating views, natural light, and cross ventilation. The façade, covered with more than 100 plant species, functions as a living system that enhances thermal comfort and fosters a direct relationship with nature.

The exposed concrete structure, complemented by brick and wood details, reinforces the project’s material expression, highlighting its sober and timeless character. Each apartment was designed to offer functional, warm, and adaptable spaces, encouraging a more conscious way of living in balance with the environment.
